On November 3rd and 4th, Steve Bradley-Bull offered an introductory workshop titled, Motivational Interviewing for Health Care Professionals: A Person-Centered Approach to Achieve Healthier Outcomes for the Charlotte Area Health Education Center (AHEC). There were over 20 participants from across the state representing a variety of health care professions. The focus of the workshop was on learning some of the fundamentals of Motivational Interviewing and applying them with the individuals they serve back in their respective communities. Participants were extremely engaged, asked great questions, and had the opportunity to practice many of the skills presented.
