The Division of AIDS Research at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) has organized two pre-conference sessions the morning of Friday June 8, 2018 at the Adherence 2018 Conference in Miami, Florida.
Pre-Con 1: Violence and the HIV Care Continuum
Time: 9:00 – 10:30 am Eastern Time
Co-Chairs: Teri Senn (NIMH) and Kathy Sikkema (Duke University
Pre-Con 2: Reducing Intersectional Stigma to Improve the HIV Prevention Continuum
Time: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm Eastern Time
Co-Chairs: Gregory Greenwood (NIMH), Jonathon Rendina (Hunter College) and Janet Turan (University of Alabama, Birmingham)
Sessions will include presentations from investigators conducting state-of-the-science research, followed by moderated discussions focused on gaps in current research knowledge. Audience members will have a chance to ask questions and participate in the discussions.
